On Thursday the 8th of November, a lady called Louise came in from an adventure playground in Edinburgh with a whole lot of dressing up stuff. She also brought some tarpaulin and some tyres. Louise put all the stuff in the middle of the playground and told us to do whatever we could think of with them. A lot of people went to the dressing up clothes and started to play with them. Even Sam joined in the dressing up fun by donning a cape to become “Supertramp”!
People sat on tyres and Jan-hendrik took this a step further by creating a wheelbarrow out of a tyre and some red pipes. Another use for the tyres was to pile the tyres up around them like this:

Some people even managed to roll the tyres into a big muddy puddle and started to walk across them. This idea didn’t go without accident, however, because Jan-Hendrik and Aneas both got a bit muddy! Louise has left the tyres and we still play with them occaisionally.

Yesterday we looked at some potatoes that we had grown and thought of ways to store them.
Were doing this because we are doing a project about highland clearances and wanted to find out about Blight.
We thought of lots of ways to store them.
Here are some ways:
box in cupboard with paper
water on shelf
soil out side
sawdust in a box in cupboard
on top of soil outside
box in cupboard
window sill in light
sand in cupboard
I would use the sand in the cupboard.

On wednesday 28th March we went ski-ing with the school.
I was in the group that was ski-ing first.
First we had to all go into the equipment hire buiding to get
our ski boots and skis. Then we went up in the gondola,
when we got up we went straight to the dry slope. Our tutor
was called Bob.When we finished our lesson we went
down to the ski club building to have our lunch.
After lunch we got tomake our own mountains with
play-dough.
IT WAS REALLY FUN!

On Wednesday 28th March we went skiing on Anoch-Mor. When
we arrived we got our skis and boots from the eqipment hire,
then went up in the gondola. After that we went to the dry ski
slope and start our lessons. Ben, Max and I were the best in the
stage that we are at. Then we had lunch in the ski club room.
After that a lady called Eilidh gave us a talk on the geology of
the Nevis range. Then we went back down in the gondola and back
to school.
I Enjoyed It
